Terms of Use
Effective Date: November 6, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to Print Remote (the "Application") for Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows, provided by NTWIND LLC ("NTWIND", "we", or "us"). By installing or using the Application, you agree to these Terms.
1. License and Permitted Use
Subject to these Terms, NTWIND grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Application for personal or internal business purposes. NTWIND and its licensors retain their intellectual property rights in the Application. Except as permitted by applicable law or authorized by NTWIND, you may not sell, sublicense, redistribute, copy, modify, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the Application. Third-party components remain subject to their respective licenses.
2. Local Network, Pairing, and Permissions
The Application lets supported devices use a printer installed on a Windows PC or Mac over a local network. Android and iOS send jobs; Mac and Windows send and receive jobs and support local preparation through This Device. Pair only devices you own or are authorized to use. You are responsible for your devices, operating-system accounts, network, firewall, printers, and the separate receiver-local Print and Save PDF permissions you grant.
The receiving computer must be available and running the Application. A printer does not need its own Wi-Fi connection, but it must work with the receiving computer's operating system and driver. The Application does not provide printing to a computer over the internet.
3. Your Content and Requests
The Application reads the files, images, URLs, and text you select, transfers selected sources to a paired receiving computer when requested, and prepares PDF pages. It can submit selected pages as a final PDF to the computer's printing service or return a PDF to the requesting device through Save PDF. You are responsible for the content you select, the rights needed to access, transmit, convert, save, and print it, and who can access the resulting files or printed pages.
Review source preparation warnings, selected pages and order, printer choice, settings, and output before submitting. Do not use the Application to access, copy, transmit, print, disrupt, damage, or interfere with content, devices, networks, accounts, or systems without authorization, or for unlawful, harmful, or infringing activity.
4. Compatibility, Conversion, and Printer Results
Preparation takes place on Mac or Windows. Supported PDFs, images, and typed or pasted text do not require Office software. DOC/DOCX, XLS/XLSX, and PPT/PPTX conversion requires compatible Microsoft Office or LibreOffice software installed separately on the receiving computer. ODT, ODS, ODP, and RTF require LibreOffice. URL conversion depends on the computer's web runtime and access to the destination; Windows requires Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime. Password-protected PDFs are not supported.
Compatibility and output depend on file formats, available fonts, converters, printer drivers, operating-system services, permissions, storage, and network availability. The Application does not guarantee compatibility with every file, website, converter, printer, driver, or device, or that a converted page will exactly match its appearance in another application.
A successful Print action means the final PDF was submitted to the receiving computer's printing service. It does not confirm physical printing, delivery of every page, or the condition of the printer. If an outcome is Unknown, check the printer and queue before submitting again. You remain responsible for paper, ink, other printing costs, and any separate PDF copies you choose to keep.
5. Privacy, Temporary Processing, and History
Our Privacy Policy explains local data, encrypted paired transfers, temporary processing, optional History, retained PDFs, third-party requests, and support correspondence. Temporary job files are cleaned up after completed printer submissions or discard, and inactive or stale jobs are subject to cleanup. Operating systems, converters, web runtimes, and printing services may manage their own files, queues, or logs.
History can store source references, URLs, text, job details, and optionally received output PDFs according to your settings. Repeat restores available inputs for review and does not immediately print. History and temporary imports are not a backup service; retained PDFs may be removed as storage limits are reached. Keep important originals and output PDFs separately.
6. Third-Party Software and Services
Printers, drivers, Microsoft Office, LibreOffice, web runtimes, websites, cloud-backed file and photo providers, sharing destinations, app stores, and networks have their own terms and policies. URL preparation can contact external websites and related resources from the receiving computer. Access to a site or file does not grant rights to reproduce its content.
The Windows release includes PDFium and the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Loader. Their packaged notices are supplied as PDFIUM_LICENSE and WEBVIEW2_LICENSE.txt alongside the corresponding libraries. Other open-source notices are available in About → Licenses. If you obtained the Application through an app store, that store's terms may also apply. For Apple-distributed versions, Apple is not responsible for the Application or its content; Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms to the extent required by the App Store terms.
7. Availability and Updates
Local operation depends on compatible devices, a working printer installation where printing is requested, available sources and converters, sufficient storage, and a network that allows the devices to reach each other. Firewalls, VPNs, guest networks, and router isolation can prevent pairing or transfer. We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue the Application or its features.
8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Application is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NTWIND is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, business, device availability, conversion output, saved files, or printed material arising from use of or inability to use the Application. These Terms do not limit rights or liabilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Application by uninstalling it or closing it where supported. We may terminate your license if you materially violate these Terms, subject to applicable law. On termination, stop using and remove the Application. Provisions intended to survive termination, including content responsibility, intellectual property, disclaimers, and limits of liability, continue to apply.
10. Changes and Contact
We may update these Terms and will post the revised version with a new effective date. Questions may be sent to NTWIND LLC at [email protected].
