Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to Presentation Remote (the "Application") for Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows, provided by NTWIND LLC ("NTWIND", "we", or "us"). By installing or using the Application, you agree to these Terms.
1. License and Permitted Use
Subject to these Terms, NTWIND grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Application for personal or internal business purposes. NTWIND and its licensors retain their intellectual property rights in the Application. Restrictions on copying, modification, distribution, and reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
2. Local Network and Pairing
The Application presents content locally or on devices connected through a local network. Pair only devices you own or are authorized to use. You are responsible for the devices you pair, your network and firewall settings, and the receiver-local Start presentations and Remote control permissions you grant.
3. Your Content and Commands
The Application reads images and documents you select, transfers temporary source bytes to a paired receiver when you request a remote show, converts supported documents on Mac and Windows receivers, and displays slides. You retain responsibility for your content, the rights needed to access, transmit, process, and display it, and the audience that can see the receiving screen.
Do not use the Application to access or control devices without permission or for unlawful, harmful, infringing, or unauthorized activity. Presentation Remote does not provide stock images, documents, cloud storage, or rights to third-party content.
4. Source and Converter Availability
Android and iOS receivers support image and PDF sources. Mac and Windows receivers can also prepare supported Office and OpenDocument sources when a compatible Microsoft Office or LibreOffice installation is available. RTF conversion requires LibreOffice. The Application does not guarantee that every file, photo-library item, converter installation, network, or device will work in every configuration.
Cloud-backed photos may require an operating-system or provider download before use. Third-party photo services, document converters, app stores, operating systems, and networks have their own terms and policies.
5. Privacy and Temporary Processing
Our Privacy Policy explains local data, presentation transfers, temporary session files, optional Recent history, and support correspondence. The receiver removes its app-owned session data when the show ends, is cancelled, or fails and checks for abandoned session data at startup. Other software and operating systems may manage their own caches and temporary files.
6. Availability and Updates
Local presentation depends on compatible devices, file access, photo permissions, available storage, working software converters where needed, and a network that allows devices to reach each other. Firewalls, VPNs, guest networks, and router isolation can prevent pairing or transfer. We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue the Application or its features.
7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Application is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NTWIND is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, availability, or business arising from use of or inability to use the Application. These terms do not limit rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
8. Third-Party Software and Stores
The Windows receiver includes PDFium, whose aggregate license is packaged with the Windows release. Other open-source notices are available in the Application's About → Licenses screen. If you obtained the Application through an app store, that store's terms may also apply. For Apple-distributed versions, Apple is not responsible for the Application or its content; Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms to the extent required by the App Store terms.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Application by uninstalling it or closing it where supported. We may terminate your license if you materially violate these Terms, subject to applicable law. Provisions intended to survive termination, including content responsibility, intellectual property, disclaimers, and limits of liability, continue to apply.
