Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the Power Remote application (the "Application") for desktop computers and mobile devices, created by NTWIND LLC ("NTWIND", "we", "us", or "Service Provider").
1. Information We Collect and Use
Power Remote is designed for local network power control. The Application does not require an account, does not use advertising, does not use tracking SDKs, and does not operate a cloud service for sending power commands between your devices.
Local Use
When you use the Application, settings and operational data are stored locally on your devices. We do not receive, store, or access this local-only data unless you choose to send it to us, for example in a support request.
Depending on your device, settings, and the features you use, the Application may access, generate, store, or exchange the following information locally or between your own paired devices:
- Device information: device name, device type, operating system, app version, and local network address.
- Network information: local IP address, network port, nearby-device discovery information, and Wake-on-LAN information such as MAC address where available.
- Pairing and security information: trusted-device records, security credentials, per-device permissions, and pairing state.
- Command information: power commands and command results, such as Sleep, Wake, Lock, Restart, Shut Down, Log Out, Display Off, Display On, and Keep Awake.
- App data: local settings, device list, hidden-device preferences, history, and diagnostic or network log information.
We use this information to discover nearby devices, pair trusted devices, send encrypted local requests, perform power actions, show command history, and troubleshoot connection problems.
Support Requests
If you contact us for support, you may choose to provide your email address, diagnostic details, screenshots, logs, device information, or other information in your message. We use support information to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, improve the Application, protect against abuse, and maintain support and business records.
2. Local Network Communication
Power Remote communicates between your paired devices over your local network or
Because Power Remote is a local-network application, your router, operating system, firewall, VPN, internet service provider, or network administrator may process network traffic according to their own settings and policies.
3. Third-Party Services
The Application does not use third-party advertising SDKs. We do not sell personal information.
The Application may be distributed through third-party app stores and platforms. Those providers may process information according to their own privacy policies:
If you visit NTWIND websites, download updates, or contact support, your browser, email provider, hosting provider, anti-spam provider, or other infrastructure providers may process standard technical information needed to provide those services.
4. Data Sharing
We do not automatically receive your device list, pairing data, command history, MAC addresses, local IP addresses, or power commands.
We share information only as needed to provide and protect the Application, respond to support requests, operate our websites and communications, comply with law or legal process, prevent abuse or security incidents, or enforce our rights. We do not share your local Power Remote data with advertisers or data brokers.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Local-only data remains on your device until you delete it, clear the Application data, reset settings where available, remove paired devices, clear history where available, or uninstall the Application.
Uninstalling the Application removes local app data from your device according to your operating system's uninstall behavior. Removing a paired device deletes that device's local pairing record on the device where you remove it; other paired devices may keep their own local records until removed there as well.
Support emails and related correspondence are retained as long as reasonably needed to respond to your request, maintain support records, protect against abuse, comply with legal obligations, and maintain business records.
6. Security
Power Remote is built for trusted local networks. Devices must be paired before commands can be sent, and local requests between paired devices are encrypted. You should pair only devices you own and trust, keep your devices and operating systems updated, and use Power Remote only on networks you trust.
No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, especially on networks, devices, or operating systems outside our control.
7. Children's Privacy
The Application is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at [email protected] so we can take appropriate action.
8. International Processing
If you contact us, visit our website, download updates, or use platform services, information related to those activities may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States or other locations where we or our service providers operate. By using the Application, you understand that such information may be transferred to and processed in those locations, subject to applicable law.
9. Your Choices
You may use Power Remote without an account. You may manage paired devices, permissions, settings, and history within the Application. You may stop local network communication by closing the Application, disabling its background or tray behavior where available, blocking it in your firewall, removing paired devices, or uninstalling the Application.
You may choose not to send diagnostic details or logs to us when contacting support, but that may limit our ability to troubleshoot your issue.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Privacy Policy on this page and update the effective date. Your continued use of the Application after the updated Privacy Policy is posted means you accept the updated policy.
