Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the Media Remote application (the "Application") for desktop computers and mobile devices, created by NTWIND LLC ("NTWIND", "we", "us", or "Service Provider").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Application, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.
1. License and Permitted Use
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Application for your personal or internal business use.
You may not copy, modify, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Application except as permitted by law or expressly authorized by us. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the Application except to the extent applicable law allows despite this restriction. All intellectual property rights in the Application remain owned by NTWIND LLC or its licensors.
2. Local Network and Pairing
Media Remote is intended to control supported media actions on devices you own or are authorized to manage. The Application works primarily over your local network or
You are responsible for pairing only trusted devices and for keeping your devices, operating-system accounts, local network, router, and firewall settings secure. You may delete paired devices or change permissions in the Application where available.
3. Media Commands and User Responsibility
Media Remote can send media commands such as Play / Pause, Next, Previous, Volume Up, Volume Down, Mute, Open URL, Open file, and Full screen. These actions may start or stop media playback, change volume, open browser pages or applications, display selected files, affect active windows, or interrupt other activity on a device.
You are responsible for the commands you send with the Application and for ensuring that each command is safe, authorized, and appropriate for the target computer. You agree not to use the Application to access, control, disrupt, damage, or interfere with devices, networks, accounts, data, files, websites, media services, or systems that you do not own or are not authorized to manage.
4. URLs, Files, and Third-Party Content
Media Remote does not provide movies, music, videos, streaming subscriptions, websites, or other media content. The Application only helps you control playback or open content that you choose on your own devices.
You are responsible for the URLs you open, the files you select, the media folders you make available, and your use of any website, media player, browser, streaming platform, or online service. Third-party content and services may have their own terms, privacy policies, fees, restrictions, geographic availability, and technical requirements.
5. Fees and Paid Features
Media Remote is currently provided as a free application. We may change how the Application or related services are offered in the future. Any charges, if introduced, will be communicated through the applicable app store, website, or Application interface before they apply.
If you obtained the Application through Apple App Store, Google Play, Microsoft Store, or another marketplace, your use may also be subject to that store's terms, privacy policy, billing rules, refund rules, taxes, and payment requirements.
6. Third-Party Services
The Application may be distributed through third-party app stores and platforms, including Apple and Google. Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, app store systems, payment systems, websites, browsers, media players, streaming platforms, outages, or changes outside our control.
7. Connectivity, Availability, and Updates
Some features require network connectivity between your devices. You are responsible for network access, data charges, device compatibility, firewall and router configuration, media player compatibility, and keeping your device and operating system secure.
Media Remote may not work if devices are on different networks, guest networks, isolated networks, VPNs, blocked by firewalls, or prevented from communicating by router or operating-system settings.
Media actions depend on the target computer, operating system, active application, browser, media player, supported file type, file permissions, and system media-control behavior. We do not guarantee that every command will work with every app, website, media player, file, device, or network.
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Application at any time. We do not guarantee that the Application will always be available, error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every device, operating-system version, app, website, file type, or network environment.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle, use, share, retain, and delete information. By using the Application, you agree to the Privacy Policy available at:

9. Termination
You may stop using the Application at any time by uninstalling it or closing it where supported. We may suspend or terminate your right to use the Application if you violate these Terms, create risk or possible legal exposure for us, misuse the Application, or where required by law.
Upon termination, the license granted to you ends and you must stop using the Application. Sections intended to survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute-related provisions, will survive.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Application is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NTWIND LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, business opportunities, device availability, interrupted activity, failed media commands, opened URLs, opened files, third-party content, or other losses arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Application.
12. Apple-Specific Terms
For versions distributed through the Apple App Store, Apple is not responsible for the Application or its content. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms for Apple-distributed versions and may enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary. If these Terms conflict with Apple's applicable terms for Apple-distributed apps, Apple's terms control to the extent required by Apple.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post updated Terms on this page and update the effective date. Your continued use of the Application after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
